South Middle River Civic Association general meetings occur on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM.  You do not have to be a member to attend!  Meeting are not held in the month of December and are scheduled one week earlier during holiday conflicts, including for Thanksgiving in November.   See the schedule below for our upcoming meetings.  

General meetings take place in the community center at Warfield Park.  Parking is located off Sunrise Boulevard along the southern edge of the park between Andrews and NE 1st Ave.  The parking area can be accessed by heading westbound on Sunrise Blvd. towards Andrews Ave. and making a right turn immediately after Hot Dog Heaven (please see picture to the right).  Our meetings provide an opportunity to meet your neighbors, hear important news and updates concerning both the neighborhood and city of Fort Lauderdale, and advocate for your needs.  Representatives from the following city agencies regularly attend:

• Community Enhancement and Compliance (Code)

• Fort Lauderdale Police Department 

• Office of the District 2 Commissioner (when available)
